Närproducerat – cooking as dance
A dance performance that is inspired by the dynamic movements of cooking.
“The choreographer and dancer Sandrina Lindgren’s solo performance Närproducerat – cooking as dance enchants like a loving freshly baked, fluffy bread. The local ingredients consists of movements, soundscapes and a cosy kitchen environment. ” – from the blog Kulttuurikuplia
What does everyday movements and dance have in common? In this solo, mundane actions in the kitchen are used as part of a choreography that does not stop until the food is on the table. Human in motion, music, cooking pots and steaming food form the ensemble of a domestic micro-spectacle that reflects on the greatness in the small. After the performance, the group may stay and enjoy a dinner consisting of the food prepared during the show in a lovley rural and relaxed environment.
